Melissa is a member of the Talking Matters board. She is inspired by the difference Talking Matters has already made to the lives of children, and families and to their communities. She is committed to helping Talking Matters grow and thrive so more New Zealanders can benefit from its programmes. Melissa brings extensive legal experience to the board as well as public sector experience following a long career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Melissa sits on two other charitable boards including education focused Te Hononga Akoranga COMET and food rescue charity Fair Food.
